ok guys, when someone says
"We should aim for bi-weekly shipments"
How would you guys interpret it
Ambiguous. 'Biweekly' should mean 'twice a week', but many
people would understandably mistake it for 'once every two
weeks'.
Ask the person to clarify and advise him to use 'twice weekly'
instead.
It's just like how 'biannual' (twice a year) should never be
used since it can be mistaken for 'biennial' (once every two
years). 'Semiannual' would be a better term.
